This 15th century Mamluk tile signed by craftsman Ibn Ghaubi Taurisi is from the Shrine of Sayyida Nafisa in Cairo, Egypt. The Kufi Calligraphy is from the Quran, Surah 29, verse 45: "Indeed, prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of God is surely the greatest. And Allah knows that which you do."

The original (43 x 43 cm) tile is housed in the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, Egypt. The original reproduction by Artist Nebahat Pektas is currently on display at Seldon Institute.
