Join us for an experiential Master Class with renowned artist, Nebahat Pektas, on the intricate world of miniature painting.
This highly detailed, small-scale art form flourished in the Islamic world from the 8th to 19th centuries through Arabic, Persian, Ottoman, and Mughal ateliers.
You will learn about the forms, functions, and techniques of this unique art through a live demonstration and hands-on guided session where you can try your hand at miniature painting using professional-grade materials.
There will be an exclusive guided tour of some of Nebahat’s original miniature paintings.
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Nebahat Pektaş is a Turkish illumination and miniature artist. Nebahat studied illumination art with Gülbün Mesara at the Süheyl Ünver Atelier since 1996 and miniature art with artist Jahongir Ashurov since 2018.
